PPA Challenge 320
I made this card to enter into the Pals Paper Art Challenge #320. I used almost all the products for the card from the Holiday Catalog… and was so happy with the outcome!
I started with the Candy Cane Lane Designer Series paper and the Candy Cane Lane Designer Washi tape. I followed the sketch for the challenge (with a little tweaking) and added dies from the Pretty Pines Thinlits set along with the coordinating stamp set, Christmas Pines.
This was such a fun card to make to get going into the holiday season! I hope you like it! If you would like to purchase any of these products, I would appreciate the opportunity if you would shop through me… by just clicking the shop online link above. Check out the Holiday Catalog above and you will see all the fantastic items available. There is also a huge sale going on with many DSPs – Buy three and get one free!
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you can stop by again soon sometime! If you have any questions or comments, feel free to comment below.
Happy Stamping! ~Lori~
Fall Thank You Card – Change It Up!
This card is a ‘Change It Up’ design from the original Fall Thank You Card. I wanted to show you how just making some very simple changes to one design, can really change the feel of the card.
The changes I made were minimal. I used a white card base instead of the ivory. I cut the Kraft strip a little thinner and paper pierced all around the perimeter. I used the Tip Top Taupe ink instead of the Crumb Cake ink for a little darker sentiment color. I scored the top and bottom of the front with two scores almost all the way across. I used the Linen Thread for the tie instead of the burlap ribbon. I added a little bling with three adhesive rhinestones and lastly, stamped the leaves instead of die cutting them.
Both cards were made with the Swirly Scribbles Thinlits and the Thoughtful Branches/Beautiful Branches bundle. Buying them as a bundle is so smart because there are so many different ways to get creative with each of them. And remember, buying bundles always saves you 10%.
I hope you enjoyed this ‘Change It Up!’ Fall Thank You card. Now, you can see that if you are making one card – by using the same products and materials with just a little change up, you have a second beautiful card! Same but Different! 🙂
To get all the details on how I made the first card, just check out the post ‘Fall Thank You Card’. Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope you were a bit inspired and have a chance to come back again soon.
Happy Stamping! 🙂 Lori~
