This newly released ONLINE EXCLUSIVE die set is called the Fancy Borders Dies… and I love it! It is part of the Fancy Borders Bundle! For today’s project, I cozied this new die set with the Delightful Wishes Bundle and the Floral Delights Designer Series Paper… all from the Floral Delight Suite Collection… also an Online Exclusive!
I love being able to showcase two separate prints from the same DSP pack and the Floral Delight DSP has so many beautiful prints that it was very easy to do for this project.
By using one of the Fancy Border Dies and cropping two thirds to the right of the layer, I was able to adhere both sides over the checkered print to highlight the arched borders.

Here are the measurements for this quick and easy project…
- Basic White (thick) CS: 11″ x 4 1/4″ and scored at 5 1/2″
- Old Olive CS: 5 1/4″ x 4″
- DSP: 5″ x 3 3/4″ (solid print)
- DSP: (bottom focal point layer): 4 3/4″ x 3 1/2″
- DSP: (to be cropped): 4 3/4″ x 3 1/2″
Here is the step-by-step for this quick and easy project…
- Trim all layers as noted above
- Adhere the Old Olive card stock to the card base
- Adhere the larger DSP layer to the card stock layer
- Add the (bottom focal point – checkered) DSP layer to the solid DSP layer
- Crop the last DSP piece with one of the Fancy Borders Dies (about two-thirds to the right) and adhere over checkered DSP layer
- Crop the ‘wishing’ die and two leaf dies from the solid DSP print
- Stamp the sentiment and three small flowers and crop with dies from set
- Adhere the sentiments and stamped die cuts to the card front
