Introducing The Fancy Borders Dies

This newly released ONLINE EXCLUSIVE die set is called the Fancy Borders Dies… and I love it! It is part of the Fancy Borders Bundle!

For this easy design, I used one sheet of the Full of Life 6″ x 6″ DSP for both the sentiment background tag and the two strips of color behind the die cut layers.

See below for the step-by-step!

I used two dies from the Nested Essentials Dies for the sentiment tags and stamped the sentiment, which is from the Unbounded Love stamp set in one of our In-Colors, Pretty in Pink!

Here are the measurements for this quick and easy project…

Basic White (thick) CS: 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
Basic White DSP: 5 1/4″ x 4″
Full of Life DSP: (2x) 5 1/2″ x 1″ (horizontal orientation)
Full of Life DSP: 5 1/4″ x 1/2″

Here is the step-by-step for this quick and easy project…

Trim 1/2″ off the 6″ x 6″ DSP layer (set aside)
Trim ( 2) strips (horizontally) 1″ x 5 1/2″
Trim the Basic White card stock to 5 1/4″ x 4″
Crop the Basic White layer (horizontally) with the heart die on both the top and bottom edge of layer
Adhere the two strips of DSP behind the die cut layer (centering the cropped layer on the DSP strips)
Adhere the 1/2″ DSP layer to the center of the die cut layer
Run a strip of white ribbon over the 1/2″ DSP layer and adhere to back of card stock
Tie a bow and adhere over ribbon
Crop one of the Nested Essentials Dies from the center of the Full of Life DSP
Stamp the sentiment in Pretty in Pink ink onto a Basic White scrap and crop with die from Nested Essentials Dies
Adhere the stamped die cut to the DSP die cut and then to card front using Dimensionals
Add a few 24-26 In Color Gems to the card front
