I was having fun experimenting with inking up the inside of an embossing folder (see my Many Merry Thanks card project HERE), so this time I decided to actually stamp inside the embossing folder and see what happens. And this is what happened…
I used the grouping of trees from the Winter Woods stamp set and the Woodland Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. I stamped the image to the recessed side of the folder in Shaded Spruce ink. I used a dark piece of DSP from the Joyous Noel Specialty DSP and layered it on a piece of Tranquil Tide card stock.
I also used the same DSP to crop out the ‘Happy’ from the Merry Christmas Thinlits Dies. Before running it through the Big Shot, I used a piece of the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets to ensure an easy and perfect placement on the embossed layer.
I stamped the sentiment in Sahara Sand ink and cropped them both with the small tag from the Merry Christmas To All Bundle. I finished it with a single strand of Tranquil Tide 5/8″ Ribbon and tied a little knot in the center of the embossed layer.
