Welcome to the Pals monthly blog hop. We’re so glad you’re here! December is time for glitz and bling with “All that Sparkles & Shines”. Today we feature projects that sparkle or shine. Maybe even a little of both.
You may be starting the hop here or coming from a previous Pal’s blog. Either way, you’ve come to the right place. You’ll find the the full line-up below to help you move, or “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
I am not much for glitter and sparkle, but as soon as I heard what this month’s blog hop theme was… I figured I could do my usual clean & simple AND with a little bit of Shimmer Paint… I was good to go!
The focal image here is the Seasonal Wreath Dynamic Textured Impressions Folder. It can absolutely stand on its own!
The new Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint (which is being carried over into 2019) was added to the card front layer (Whisper White card stock) by using the Stampin’ Spritzer. I simply added a couple of drops of Shimmer Paint to some rubbing alcohol that I poured into the spritzer first.
The shimmer on the wreath was added by using a sponge dauber directly over the embossed image.
The sentiment is from the Wishing You Well stamp set (also being carried over) which I heat embossed using the Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder. I placed the focal image layer over a piece of DSP from the Frosted Floral Specialty DSP. This just added even more shine to the project!
I hope you liked my sparkle and shine project today!
More inspiration awaits! Use the Blog Hop Line-up below to visit the rest of this month’s hoppers. My fellow Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created. Don’t forget to show us some love by commenting on our creations.
