Welcome to the Pals August, 2018 Blog Hop. We love to cut it out so this month our creations feature our favorite “cuts” using punches, Framelits and Thinlits from the current Stampin’ Up! catalog.
You may be starting the hop here or coming from a previous Pal’s blog. Either way, you’ve come to the right place. You’ll find the the full line-up below to help you move, or “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
Enjoy Your Special Day with Springtime Impressions
The Stitched All Around Bundle is the perfect set to showcase these beautiful stamps and dies. And now with our new Big Shot Embossing Mats, the dies are just as fantastic to emboss with.
I used Coastal Cabana and Night of Navy card stock to layer with the large die from the Stitched Labels Thinlits. I placed the background thinlit in opposite corners of the Coastal Cabana card stock.
I stamped the ‘cross stitch’ image from the Stitched All Around stamp set in Night of Navy ink randomly on a scrap of Whisper White card stock and trimmed to 1-1/2″ x 4″. I used the large sentiment stamp and stamped on a large scrap of Whisper White card stock with Night of Navy ink. I cropped it out with the large stitched label. Before adhering the colored card stock and stamped layers to the card base, I ran a strip of 1/2″ Night of Navy Gingham Ribbon around the center of the layers and tied a bow to the left side of the card.
I adhered the large sentiment label over the layers with Stampin’ Dimensionals and added a few Gold Metallic Pearls to the card front. To make the envelope extra special, I used the background die again on the envelope flap.
