This card uses two of my favorite stamp sets, Sheltering Tree and Thoughtful Branches, along with the thinlit set, Beautiful Branches.
I started with a piece of dark brick layering patterned paper. I used the tree from Sheltering Tree and then I stamped (with both Pumpkin Pie and Tip Top Taupe ink) the leafy image from the Thoughtful Branches set. Then I used the Beautiful Branches dies to cut out the perfect shape for a beautiful full Autumn tree scape. I popped the leafy part out with some cut-up dimensionals to give it some extra dimension. Can you see how you can look right through the leaves to see the tree branches? Love that! 🙂
I used the ground cover, rake and sentiment from the Sheltering Tree set. I wrapped some Linen Thread, added a button and a bow and I was done! I added part of the triple tree stamp from Thoughtful Branches onto the front of the envelope (with just a few orange leaves falling to the ground). I also used a strip of the dark brick patterned paper on the inside bottom edge of the card.
I think making Autumn cards are my favorite! Just makes me happy! :-). I hope you like this card and get inspired to try it (or something like it) for yourself! I have listed the products that I used for this project below.
