Last of the Seaside Wishes... Maybe! - LollyPop Paper and Ink

This Seaside Wishes and Hybrid Embossing Folder — I am having so much fun playing with this bundle!

In case you are not familiar with the phrase ‘hybrid’, it simply means that the embossing folder and dies can work simultaneously (or separately). I just love how simple it is and how much time it saves.

I love bundles where I can actually build the scenes! This is definitely one of those bundles. Today I am using one of my favorite color combinations… Misty Moonlight and Crumb Cake! And I added one embossed layer of Basic Beige for good measure!

I love to stamp and crop as many images as I can get on one piece of card stock when I start to play with a bundle. In addition, I add as many ‘stand alone’ die cuts to my pile so I have many color choices to build on when designing my card.

I really love pairing the Crumb Cake with the Basic Beige as it works on so many levels!

Here are the quick measurements for this project…

Basic White (Thick) CS: 11″ x 4 1/4″ and score at 5 1/2″
Crumb Cake CS: 5 1/4″ x 4″
Basic Beige CS (embossed): 5″ x 3 3/4″
Country Woods DSP: 5″ x 1″

Here is the quick step-by-step for this project…

Trim all layers as noted above
Emboss the Basic Beige layer with the Seaside Wishes Hybrid Embossing Folder
Adhere the DSP strip to the embossed card stock
Adhere both layers to the Crumb Cake card stock
Adhere all three layers to the card base
Stamp three different sizes from Basic White card stock using the Deckled Rectangles Dies
Stamp the sentiment on the smallest die cut in Crumb Cake ink
Stamp a few background images on the middle sized die cut (I stamped in opposing corners of the die cut)
Arrange and adhere the deckled rectangles to the card front – popping up the sentiment with Dimensionals
Stamp a few starfish and silver dollar images in Crumb Cake ink and crop with dies
Crop an (outline) seaweed die from Misty Moonlight card stock
Arrange and adhere the die cuts around the sentiment and card front rectangles
