It’s All About The Layers… And A New Sketch!

Layering is big for me! I have to say that the Country Lace designer series paper in conjunction with the Country Flowers bundle and the Eyelet 3d Embossing Folder makes this a really easy design.

Sometimes when I design a card that I really love, I am immediately drawn to creating a sketch of the design so that I can keep it for another time when maybe I am a little off and need to get my creative juices flowing again! This is definitely one of those cards! Here is the sketch for this design. Enjoy!

The coordinating colors for the Country Lace DSP are Petal Pink, Basic Beige, Smoky Slate and Misty Moonlight! I love the Misty Moonlight and Basic Beige combination and I was able to incorporate both colors in this project with card stock and DSP!

The circle was cropped with a die from the Spotlight on Nature Dies. This made for a nice background for the focal image which was stamped in Misty Moonlight ink and cropped with the die from the Country Flowers Dies.

Basic White (Thick) CS: 11″ x 4 1/4″ and scored at 5 1/2″
DSP: 5 1/4″ x 4″
Basic Beige CS: 5″ x 3 3/4″
Basic White 4 3/4″ x 3 1/2″
Misty Moonlight CS: 3 1/8″ x 1 5/8″ (x2)
DSP: 3″ x 1 1/2″ (x2)
