Sneak Peek – Let’s Try This Again!

I am re-publishing this blog post (original post published yesterday – 9/17/24). I am currently experiencing a major learning curve with a changeover from my WordPress editor. I haven’t ordered a lot from the newly released September – December ’24 Mini Catalog, but this Decorative Trees Bundle was high on my list! I just can’t resist a good tree bundle at this time of year! I especially love the intricate dies included! Wow!

Here are the quick measurements for this project:

Basic White (Thick) CS: 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and scored at 4 1/4″
Basic Beige CS: 5 1/4″ x 4″
Regal Distressed Patterns DSP: 5″ x 3 3/4″
Cherry Cobbler CS: 4 1/4″ x 3″
Basic Beige (embossed layer) CS: 4″ x 2 3/4″
Cherry Cobbler CS: 3 1/2″ x 1/2″

Here is the quick step-by-step for this project:

Trim all layers as noted below
Adhere the DSP layer to the Basic Beige layer and then to card base
Emboss the smaller Basic Beige layer with the Birch Wood 3D Embossing Folder and adhere to the Cherry Cobbler layer.
Adhere both layers to the card front
Crop the solid tree image from Cherry Cobbler card stock
Crop one of the outline dies from a Gold Foil Sheet and adhere to solid tree die cut (Tip: use a Stampin’ Up! Adhesive Sheet to make adhering this fragile die cut easy peezy!)
Adhere the tree to the embossed layer with Dimensionals
Heat emboss the sentiment with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder onto trimmed Cherry Cobbler card stock tag
Adhere sentiment tag over embossed layer with Mini Dimensionals
Add a few Regal Foiled Adhesive-backed Dots to the card front
