Changing Leaves With Metallic Copper Enamel

I just love the Changing Leaves bundle (with the included Hybrid Embossing Folder)! I decided to use my Metallic Enamel Effects for a dry addition pop of color.

This bundle includes the fantastic Changing Leaves HYBRID Embossing Folder! It took me a minute to get used to these hybrid embossing folders… and then I was hooked! So many possibilities in half the time!

The Metallic Enamel Effects can be found on page 111 of the Annual Catalog. I applied the color with a dry Water Painter and used both the Copper and Gold paint. I simply added a few dots to my glass mat and applied the colors one at a time. The paint will wipe up easily off the mat.

The beautiful thing about this Hybrid Embossing Folder is that you can crop and emboss at the very same time. That is what I did here using Basic Beige card stock.

After cropping and embossing, I used a DRY water painter to brush on some Copper Metallic Enamel Effects for a stunning addition of shiny color that steals the show.

I heat embossed the sentiment with Copper Emboss Powder for a finished look and cropped with the stitched/circle die from the set!

Here are the quick measurements for this project:

Basic White (Thick) CS: 11″ x 4 1/4″ and scored at 5 1/2″
Basic White CS: 5 1/4″ x 4″
Basic Beige CS: 5″ x 3 3/4″
