I just love the Changing Leaves bundle (with the included embossing folder)! I decided to use my Metallic Enamel Effects for a dry addition of color on top of the embossed and die cut layers!

The Metallic Enamel Effects can be found on page 111 of the Annual Catalog. I applied the color with a dry Water Painter and used both the Copper and Gold paint. I simply added a few dots to my glass mat and applied the colors one at a time. The paint will wipe up easily off the mat.

You can also make your own embellishments by simply adding some dots (or swirlies) to your adhesive mat and let it dry — completely (it will take some time, so make some in advance and have them ready when you are)!. You can pick them up with your Take Your Pick Tool and add them to an acrylic sheet or even the glue dot paper liner would work great!

Here’s the quick step-by-step…

• Trim all layers as noted below
• Emboss the 5″ x 3 3/4″ Basic Beige layer with the Changing Leaves Embossing Folder
• Place a few dots of the Metallic Enamel Effects onto your glass mat surface
• Using a DRY Water Painter, brush the color onto the desired embossed spaces
• Set aside to let dry
• Stamp the sentiment in Pecan Pie ink and crop with the long oval die from the Changing Leaves Dies set
• Adhere the embossed layer to the card stock layer and then to the card base
• Adhere the sentiment tag with Dimensionals
• Add a few Neutrals Adhesive-backed Sequins to the card front

Here are the quick measurements for this project:

• Basic White (Thick) CS: 11″ x 4 1/4″ and scored at 5 1/2″
• Basic Beige CS: 5 1/4″ x 4″
• Basic Beige CS: (embossed layer) 5″ x 3 3/4″
