Happy Birthday With A Little Something!

The new Pocket Thoughts Bundle (from the Annual Catalog-pg. 62) is perfect for gift card giving. There are three different sizes of pockets you can crop from the dies!

As you can see, the images are great for many occasions – but I was completely drawn to the cupcake 2-step image! I did borrow a few different products (see below) to create this project. (I did a quick video – (under five minutes!) that I will post at the end of this blog post using different color combinations, but keeping the design the same)!

I used Basic Beige as my back layer (after it was embossed with the So Swirly Embossing folder).
I stamped my focal image (cupcake) on a circle cropped with the Spotlight on Nature Dies.
I used a pattern of DSP from the Full of Life 6 x 6 DSP pack to crop the gift card pocket from.

I stamped the birthday sentiment in Blueberry Bushel ink and fussy cut around the letters before I adhered it to the focal image cropped circle.

I added just a few Tinsel Gems to the cupcake for a little sparkle. Now that I think about it… I should have added some Wink of Stella for a yummy shine on the frosting! Oh well, next time!

And don’t forget to add that gift card… it will fit perfectly in the pocket! 🙂
