Super Simple Sending Hugs Card

This new bundle from the 2024-25 Annual Catalog is one of those bundles that just puts you in a good mood. It’s called Hearts & Hugs and you will be able to find it on page 61 of the new catty.

I am using another new product from the catalog for the bright and fun background layer. It is called Full of Life 6″x6″ DSP and is part of the Full of Life Suite Collection.

I don’t usually go for the really bright colors when I am creating, but using this cute little critter from the Hearts & Hugs bundle just called out for something bright and fun!

I used the 2 3/8″ Circle Punch (now an Online Exclusive item) to crop a circle from the center right side of the DSP print and adhered the layer to the trimmed Basic White card stock.

I stamped a few hearts in Blueberry Bushel ink onto the negative space left from the punch and adhered the layers to the Pumpkin Pie layer and then to the card base

I stamped the sentiment in Blueberry Bushel ink and trimmed around the sentiment before adhering to the card front.

The cute little critter was added last and popped up with Dimensionals to show off the cutest star of the show.

Here are the basic measurements for this card…

Basic White (Thick) CS: 11″ x 4 1/4″ and score at 5 1/2″
Pumpkin PieCS: 5 1/4″ x 4″
Basic White CS: 5″ x 3 3/4″
Full of Life DSP: 4 3/4″ x 3 1/2″
