#3 and #4 Five Minute Cards With Sweetly Scripted

Here is my third & fourth projects using the Sweetly Scripted (I’m calling it the ‘FIVE MINUTE’) Stamp Set!

I decided that with each of my projects from the FIVE MINUTE STAMP SET – SWEETLY SCRIPTED, I would make a point to use a piece of designer series paper that will be retiring at the end of this month! For this project, I used the Glorious Gingham 6″ X 6″ DSP (Pretty Peacock)!

The Sweetly Scripted stamp set was unavailable for a short period of time earlier this month, but I am happy to say that it is back in stock.

I used a few embossed hearts I had left over from previous projects using the Adoring Hearts Hybrid Embossing Folder. They came in very handy for this anniversary card.

Here are the measurements for this project:

Basic White (Thick) CS: 11″ x 4 1/4″ and scored at 5 1/2″
Pretty Peacock CS: 5 1/4″ x 4″, 4″ x 1 1/2″
DSP: 5″ x 3 3/4″, 4″ x 1″
Basic White CS: 5 1/4″ x 5/8″

Here is the step-by-step for this project:

Trim all layers as noted above
Adhere the DSP strip to the card stock strip
Adhere the DSP layer to the card stock layer and then to card base
Adhere the (two layer) strips to the left side of card front
Use the Adoring Hearts Hybrid Embossing Folder to emboss and crop three hearts from Basic White card stock
Arrange the hearts over the (two layer) strips and adhere
Stamp the sentiment in Pretty Peacock ink onto the trimmed Basic White tag
Adhere the sentiment tag over the center heart using Dimensionals
Make a bow with the white twine from the Baker’s Essentials Pack and adhere under sentiment
Add a few Pretty Peacock (& Petal Pink) Foiled Gems to the card front

Here are the measurements for this ‘speedy recovery’ card…

Basic White (Thick) CS: 11″ x 4 1/4″ and score at 5 1/2″
Calypso Coral CS: 5 1/4″ x 2 1/2″
DSP: (Garden Walk DSP) 5 1/4″ x 1 1/2″, 3 1/2″ x 2 1/4″
Basic White CS: 4 1/4″ x 1/2″

Here is the simple step-by-step for this project

Trim all layers as noted above
Adhere the Calypso Coral card stock to left side of card base
Adhere the slim DSP strip to the center of the card stock layer
Adhere the other DSP layer to the right side of the card front with Dimensionals
Stamp the sentiment in Calypso Coral ink onto the trimmed Basic White card stock tag
Adhere tag over DSP layers with Dimensionals
Add a few Adhesive-backed Hearts & Flowers to the card front
