#2 FIVE MINUTE CARD WITH SWEETLY SCRIPTED

Here is my second project with the Sweetly Sketched (I’m calling it the ‘FIVE MINUTE’) Stamp Set!

I decided that with each of my projects from the FIVE MINUTE STAMP SET – SWEETLY SCRIPTED, I would make a point to use a piece of designer series paper that will be retiring at the end of this month! For this project, I used the Inked Botanicals DSP! The entire Inked Botanicals (Inked & Tiled bundle and coordinating products) will be retiring and no longer available after April 30.

I am using another ‘Online Exclusive’ product today and that is the Fun Patterns Embossing Folder. This one is 1 of 2 in the double set and it is slimline, so it will fit great in your Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.

It is a little hard to tell, but I am using Very Vanilla card stock (both Heavy and regular) because Very Vanilla was one of the coordinating colors in the DSP. (FYI: Thick Very Vanilla card stock is also retiring and will be discontinued after the new catty goes live.)

Good news though… the new 2024-25 Annual Catalog will contain a brand new color – Basic Beige to replace the Very Vanilla! I am excited to pick some up with my preorder and try it out!

Here are the measurements for this project:

Basic White (Thick) CS: 11″ x 4 1/4″ and scored at 5 1/2″
Lost Lagoon CS: 5 1/4″ x 4″
DSP: 4″ x 3″, 3 1/2 x 1″
Very Vanilla CS: 4 1/4″ x 3″ (embossed layer), 4 1/4″ x 1/2″

Here is the step-by-step for this project:

Trim all layers as noted above
Adhere the DSP layer to the center of the Lost Lagoon card stock layer and then to card base
Emboss the Very Vanilla layer with the Fun Patterns Embossing Folder and adhere to the card front
Stamp the sentiment in Lost Lagoon ink onto the trimmed Very Vanilla layer
Adhere the sentiment tag to the trimmed DSP strip
Adhere sentiment layers to card front with Dimensionals
Add a few Blooming Pearls to the card front
