More RETIRING Notes of Nature Beauties

Well, the good news is I have two more Notes of Nature creations to share with you today! The bad news is… as you probably know already, this bundle (stamp set and dies) are being discontinued and will no longer be available after April 30, 2024!

It makes me so sad to see some of my faves go away each year, but there is always something new just around the corner… more products to love with the upcoming 2024-25 Annual Catalog!

As you can see, I switched out my color combo this time! I’m using Pecan Pie, which in my opinion is the prettiest ‘brown’ we have had in a long time!

This color also coordinates beautifully with the Nature’s Sweetness DSP and I am happy I had a chance to use the Faux Leather Trim (which is also retiring on the 30th)!

Here are the measurements for this project:

Basic White (Thick) CS: 11″ x 4 1/4″ and scored at 5 1/2″
Nature’s Sweetness DSP: 5 1/4″ 4″ (retiring)
Pecan Pie CS: 5″ x 3 3/4″
Nature’s Sweetness DSP: 4″ x 3/4″ (retiring)

Here is the step-by-step for this project:

Trim all layers as noted above
Emboss the Pecan Pie CS with the Basics 3D Embossing Folder
Die cut a large scrap of (Pecan Pie grid print DSP) with a large Perennial Postage Die
Die cut a couple of leaf sprigs from same DSP
Stamp a large leaf image in Pecan Pie ink onto Basic White CS and crop with die
Stamp the sentiment on a Basic White scrap and crop with small Perennial Postage Die
Using the ‘binder holes’ die, crop the trimmed thin piece of DSP
Insert the Gold Faux Leather Trim (retiring) through the holes and trim to the width of the embossed card stock
Adhere the layers as shown in photo
Adhere the strip of DSP with the faux trim to the card front with Dimensionals
Adhere the stamped sentiment tag to card front with Dimensionals
Add a few Neutrals Adhesive-backed Sequins to card front
