Last Two Projects From The Everyday Details Showcase

Welcome to our last few projects in this week’s NEW PRODUCT SHOWCASE – EVERYDAY DETAILS BUNDLE from the new JAN – APR ’24 MINI CATALOG!

This week, it’s all about this classic but simple EVERYDAY DETAILS BUNDLE!

I may have mentioned before that it was the Everyday Details Dies that caught my eye in the new Mini Catalog. And because these dies are such a show stopper, it may have overshadowed the Everyday Details Stamp Set. That definitely was the case with me, but I am so glad I gave this bundle a second look. You can find this bundle on page 28 of the new Mini.

For today’s project, I used these two small, thin dies that make a row of dots. I arranged them on the die cutting plate just off center and to the right. It makes for a cute little added element to the card.

There is a specific die in this set that I want to bring attention to today… I call it the ‘double dotted’ circle die. One run through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, and you have two die cuts at your disposal.

You can see from the photo that the cutting line is in the center between the two rows of dots!

We’re using the inner circle for this project. You can see the piece I set aside – the outer ‘dotted’ layer (which I trimmed to a square) for an earlier project this week – (Here For You Always – see below)

The ‘dotted’ rectangle and circle die cut was cropped from Basic White card stock. I kept the rectangle blank and stamped the tea cup image onto the ‘dotted’ circle in Memento Black ink.

The images in this set are simple and beautiful. Stamp the images in Memento Black ink when using your Blends Markers and then just add color! I still tend to be a monochromatic stamper, but adding color to these classic images really brings them to life.

Adding color to this small image took me all of about 2 minutes! I used my Petal Pink, Boho Blue and Lost Lagoon Blends Markers.

Here are the measurements for this project:

Basic White (Thick) CS: 11″ x 4 1/4″ and score at 5 1/2”
Petal Pink CS: 5 1/4” x 4”
Basic White CS: 3 3/4” x 1/2”

Here is the step-by-step for this project:

Trim all layers as noted above
Use the ‘dotted row’ die from the Everyday Details Dies to crop/emboss two lines on the bottom/right portion of the trimmed Petal Pink CS
Stamp the tea cup image in Memento Black ink on a large scrap of Basic White CS and crop with ‘dotted’ circle die
Add color to the focal image using Blends Markers (I used Petal Pink, Boho Blue and Lost Lagoon)
Crop a rectangle from the set using the ‘dotted’ rectangle die and leave unstamped
Use the ‘dotted’ circle (Sunny Days DSP) that was set aside from the (Here For You Always) project above
Arrange the die cuts on the upper half of the card front and adhere (use dimensionals for the stamped focal image)
Stamp the sentiment in Memento Black ink onto the trimmed Basic White CS tag
Adhere sentiment below focal image circles and above the ‘dotted rows’
Trim the Ribbon Duo Combo Pack (Petal Pink) in half (widthwise), double up strands and make a bow
Adhere the bow to the card front as shown with a glue dot
Add a couple of Petal Pink and Pretty Peacock Foiled Gems to card front
