Last Batch of Christmas Cards With Fragrant Forest

The Fragrant Forest stamp set is a beautiful full coverage background stamp. It’s a DistINKive stamp with deeply etched images for excellent detail.

Here are the measurements for this project:

Basic White (Thick) CS: 11″ x 4 1/4″ and scored at 5 1/2″
Crumb Cake CS: 5 1/4″x 4″
Basic White CS: 4 7/8″ x 3 1/2″ (x2)

Here is the step-by-step for this project:

Trim all card stock as noted above
Adhere the Crumb Cake CS to the card base
Using the Stamparatus (or any other stamp positioning tool), stamp the large background image on one of the trimmed Basic White card stock layers in Crumb Cake ink
Trim the stamped layer to 4 7/8″ x 3 1/2″
Use a few sponge daubers* to add some color to the image (To be honest, I am in the middle of moving and had all my daubers packed and ready to be stored for 2-3 months! I also didn’t have any Stampin’ Write Markers available, so I was forced to use some Blends Markers and I just tapped some color on the image! I wouldn’t really recommend this as I wasn’t ‘thrilled’ with how it turned out and would suggest you use the sponge daubers or Stampin’ Write Markers! I think that would give you much better results!)
Trim the stamped layer diagonally using your Trimmer
Match up the images as best you can and adhere to the trimmed Basic White layer
Stamp the sentiment (Brightest Glow Stamp Set) in Crumb Cake ink and crop with square die from Stylish Shapes Dies
Add a bow made from the Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack and a single embellishment from the Adhesive-backed Speckled dots.
