A Trio Of Graceful Deer

It really does not get any simpler and/or quicker to create a beautiful card front when you choose to use a full coverage background stamp like this one… the Graceful Deer Cling Stamp Set!

Today, I have three similar (but different) cards I created using this beautiful stamp set. I used my Stamparatus (but you can use any stamp positioning tool) to be sure I had full coverage on such a large image.

I used the Brightest Glow stamp set for each of these projects… with the exception of the Starry Sky one as I wanted that scene to speak for itself and did not think it needed a specific sentiment (which I can always add later)!

For this card, I used Basic Gray ink onto a piece of Very Vanillas card stock trimmed to 5″ x 3 3/4″. I mounted it on a layer of Basic Gray card stock trimmed to 5 1/4″ x 4″. This one was trimmed with the Black & Very Vanilla Large Check Ribbon.

This one was simple stamping at it’s best! I stamped the image on Starry Sky card stock and wrapped it with Silver & White Sheer Ribbon and a quick tie over the ribbon with Metallic Woven Ribbon is Starry Sky.

I added some Metallic Enamel Effects for a little night sky effect. TIP: Be sure to put your card aside for a few hours so that the enamel dots have time to dry completely.

This one was also on the quick and easy side! I stamped in Basic Gray ink onto Basic Gray card stock and stamped the sentiment (Brightest Glow) onto Basic White card stock. Then, I cropped the sentiment layer with the Modern Oval Punch.

I trimmed the oval so that the sentiment was on the top part of the oval and I left room on the bottom for the 1/4″ gingham ribbon.

I ran the ribbon strip around the bottom part of the sentiment tag leaving a bit of extra ribbon to the side so that I could tie a bow with black twine from the Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack.
