Simple Holiday Card With One Image And One Die

I have made so many cards from this beautiful bundle (as you can tell from my tutorial pack below), but I think this one was the easiest to create and came out just perfect!

I don’t use Very Vanilla card stock very often, but in this case, I needed a reason to open my Black & Very Vanilla 3/8″ Large Checked Ribbon and thought this would work great! 🙂 Now that the ribbon pack is open… I can’t stop using it!

The horse and sleigh image is rather large and I like to keep it pretty simple as far as the colors go. I usually keep just the outlined image in black/gray/brown, but I wanted to break up the monochromatic feel, so I added a burst of color to the sleigh. I used My Real Red Blends to accomplish that this time.

I find that stamping the sentiment directly onto the designer series paper makes the project time even quicker. One less task to crop a label and if you pop up any die cuts on the card front with dimensionals, you have all the dimension you need for that classic holiday scene.

Here are the measurements for this project:

Very Vanilla (Thick) CS: 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and scored at 4 1/4″
Basic Black CS: 5 1/4″ x 4″
DSP: 5″ x 3 3/4″
