Fragrant Forest Christmas Scene

The Fragrant Forest stamp set is a beautiful full coverage background stamp. It’s a Distinkive stamp with deeply etched images for excellent detail.

For this project, I used three different ink colors (Pretty Peacock, Lost Lagoon and Pool Party). I did use my Stamparatus (but you can use any other stamp positioning tool) because I needed to be sure the image stays put on the card stock layer each time I add the color to the image.

I started with Pretty Peacock and stamped directly on that part of the image with the ink pad. Once I could see that the part of the image was fully covered, I used a Q-Tip to wipe off any ink that may have landed on another part of the stamp.

I did this two more times with the Lost Lagoon and Pool Party ink pad.

After I finished with the stamping, I ran the stamped layer through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with the Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder for added texture.

Here are the measurements for this project:

Basic White (Thick) CS: 11″ x 4 1/4″ and scored at 5 1/2″
Lost Lagoon CS: 5 1/4″x 4″
Basic White CS: 5″ x 3 3/4″
