Simple Stamping At It's Best! - LollyPop Paper and Ink

It really does not get any simpler and/or quicker to create a beautiful card front when you choose to use a full coverage background stamp like this one… the Graceful Deer Cling Stamp Set!

Whenever using a large background stamp like this one, I always recommend using a stamp positioning tool for the best coverage. I use my Stamparatus, but any positioning tool will work.

I love using background stamps since they are large enough to cover a card front or you can stamp on smaller pieces of paper for accents and/or layers. Either way, it is truly the best way to get to a super-simple, but classic design.

I used Smoky Slate as my layered card stock and also my ink choice. I found the perfect sentiment for this scene from the Magical Meadow stamp set and it was the perfect size to crop with one of the smaller Nested Essentials Dies.

Just a pop of Real Red ink (Blends Marker) for the cute birdie sitting way up in the corner and a small strip of Real Red ribbon was all the color that was needed to make this classic card front pop.

Here are the measurements for this project:

Basic White (Thick) CS; 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and scored at 4 1/4″
Smoky Slate CS: 5 1/4″x 4″
Basic White CS: 5″ x 3 3/4″
