This fun fold is actually called a ‘Joy Fold’ card… and that is exactly what you feel when you open these flaps of beautiful designer series paper.

This DSP is called One Horse Open Sleigh 6″ x 6″ DSP and it is an Online Exclusive, which means you will not find it in any of our catalogs. This designer series paper is so beautiful and I have to say it is my favorite part of this collection!

The DSP has prints that are fabulous for the holidays, the winter, outdoorsy scenes and totally neutral designs. So many choices!

I chose this particular design so the focal image (the holiday lit cabin) would be extended throughout the card and would match up once the right/front flap was opened. I love how the scene just pops right out for you!

I stamped the sentiment on both the DSP on the front flap and also on the inside panel of the card. Both sentiments were stamped in Wild Wheat ink and were from the Brightest Glow stamp set.

Here are the measurements for this project: (Much of this design will be aligned with the naked eye and may take a bit of time to see it through… but it will be worth it!)

• Misty Moonlight CS: 5 1/2″ x 7 1/4″ and scored (parallel to the short side) at 3″
• Misty Moonlight CS: (top right flap) 4 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ and scored on one side at 1″
• Basic White CS: (inside card) 5 1/4″ x 4″
• Basic White CS: (top right flap) 4″ x 3″
• DSP: (top right flap) 3 7/8″ x 2 7/8″
• DSP: (left front flap and inside top right flap) 6″ x 5 1/4″ – then trim this piece to 5 1/4″ x 2 3/4″ – and trim other half to complete the scene by trimming to 4″ x 3″

Tips:

• Adhere DSP layer to left flap first
• Adhere 4″ x 3″ of DSP piece to inside of top right flap
• Center and adhere the 4 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ flap (top right inside & outside flap) on 1″ scored side to card base BEFORE adhering Basic White sentiment layer to inside of card base
• Stamp sentiment and add Basic White layer to inside of card base (OVER the 1″ score line of the flap)
