A Modern Christmas

The Modern Garden Bundle is from the Garden Walk Suite Collection and as you can see, has a beautiful (so many uses) tag punch that is part of the bundle.

There is one holiday sentiment in this set and I decided to use it here since the flower image I chose reminded me of a Poinsettia. I am sure with a different color choice, this flower image can be used all year round.

I used two sheets of DSP from the Garden Walk 6″ x 6″ DSP pack that were Wild Wheat in color and coordinated with the Wild Wheat card stock I used for the base layer.

The sentiment along with the flower image were stamped in Poppy Parade ink onto Basic White card stock that was cropped with the Modern Oval Punch from the bundle.

I love using our current In Colors because you never have to give it a second thought as far as what embellishment/ribbon would coordinate nicely for the project. It’s a no-brainer… out came the Wild Wheat Textured Ribbon and the 23-25 In Color Dots!

Here are the measurements for this project:

Basic White (Thick) CS: 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and scored at 4 1/4″
DSP: 5 1/4″ x 4″
Basic White CS: 5″ x 3 3/4″
Wild Wheat CS: x 4 7/8″ x 3 5/8″
DSP: 4 7/8″ x 2″
