A Paper Florist Delivery To Feel Better Soon

What could be better than a delivery from the Florist when you are not feeling so great? Well, if not a real florist… how about a Paper Florist? These dies are a fantastic stand-alone die set that creates the most beautiful floral images.

As I usually do when I am starting off with a new stand-alone die set, I run as many dies through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine as will fit on one sheet of Basic White card stock… twice! This way I can see the die cuts separately and also see them put together. For these sample (below), I have the actual dies next to the die cuts and I used my Blending Brushes to add some color to each of the sample images. This makes it much easier for me to grab the die I need for the design without any fuss.

I also ran a piece of card stock in several colors through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with all the dies in place. This allowed me to have an assortment of colors and flowers at my disposal for several Paper Florist projects.

I am using one of our new colors, Lemon Lolly and I although I am not a yellow girl, I really love the softness of this hue. I embossed my top layer with the Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder and adhered it to the Lemon Lolly card base layer.

I cropped a large rectangle from the Deckled Rectangle Dies and added my sentiment in Lost Lagoon ink to the center of the die cut.

I grabbed a few different flowers from my already-cropped assortment and arranged them over the sentiment layer. I added just a few of the gold pearls from the Festive Pearls pack.

• Basic White (Thick) CS: 11″ x 4 1/4″ and scored at 5 1/2″
• Lemon Lolly CS: 5 1/4″ x 4″
• Lemon Lolly CS: (embossed) 5″ x 3 3/4″
• Basic White CS: large scrap for deckled die cut
