Love & Joy With Merriest Trees

This is one of those projects that the DSP does all the work for you. This designer series paper is actually part of Stampin’ Up!’s Making A Difference Campaign. With each purchase of the A Walk in the Forest Designer Series Paper, Stampin’ Up! will donate $3 to support organizations dedicated to spreading cheer and providing support to those in need….it’s their GIFT OF GIVING!

This bundle is called Merriest Trees and is so fun to work with! The stamp set has great tree images, but for this project I used the Merriest Trees Dies to crop both of these trees right from the DSP! I You can find this bundle on page 12 of the new catalog!

I used the Raindrops Embossing Folder to add a little interest to the background layer and a small strip of coordinating DSP to bring all the colors together.

I cropped two additional trees from Old Olive card stock as a shadow image to the front tree, which was popped up with dimensionals.

The sentiment was stamped in Old Olive ink and trimmed to fit between the two tree images, with an added bow made from the Baker’s Twine Essential Pack

A few Iridescent Pearls were added to the card front.

Basic White (Thick) CS: 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and scored at 4 1/4″
Old Olive CS: 5 3/8″ x 4″ 1/8″
Boho Blue CS: 5 1/4″ x 4″
Basic White CS: Scrap for sentiment tag
