And speaking of scoring… today’s project was created with just a bit of extra scoring for a little extra pop to the focal image layer.

The beautiful images on this design are from the Translucent Florals Stamp Set (#162243). You can find this stamp set on page 56 of the Sept – Dec 2023 Mini Catalog!

You may notice the grid lines are not actually even. Because the layer was trimmed at 5″ x 3 3/4″, I had to improvise a little! I scored the 5″ side at 1″ intervals and scored the 3 3/4″ side at 3/4″!

Remember to score first and then stamp for this grid-look layer to your focal image layer.

These stamped images are magical! They leave the most beautiful ‘translucent’ image on several flowers and leaves. TIP: Less is more when stamping with these images. I know my ink pads are fairly new and very juicy, but I found that just placing the stamp on top of the pad, and with just a few taps on the block, your image will stamp beautifully.

I stamped and cropped only one flower image and adhered it to the sentiment tag. The actual tag was cropped from one of the Nested Essential Dies (love this set of different shapes for all sentiments)!

The finishing touches were a simple bow made with one of our Metallic Woven Ribbons in Orchid Oasis (22-24 In Color) and three little Iridescent Pearls.

Here are the measurements for this project:

Basic White (Thick) CS: 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and scored at 4 1/4″
Basic White CS: 5″ x 3 3/4″ and scored at 1″ intervals (long side) and 3/4″ intervals (short side)
