A Red Pick-Up For A Festive Christmas

A pick-up truck with a Christmas tree in the back just screams an old-fashioned holiday scene. What a better way to send a ‘Festive Christmas’ wish to family and friends.

This adorable Trucking Along ‘punch’ bundle is an Online Exclusive, which means you cannot find it any catalog. There are a slew of products that are now listed as an Online Exclusive. Unfortunately (at the time of this posting), this particular bundle was so popular (I mean who doesn’t love a pick-up truck), but it is scheduled to be back in stock on October 9th!

This project was so quick and simple. Stamping the outline of the truck in Memento Black ink and then using my Stamparatus for exact positioning (you can use any stamp positioning tool), I stamped the solid image in Poppy Parade ink.

I added just a splash of Pool Party with my Blends Marker to the window area and stamped the tree in Pretty Peacock (both full strength and stamped off). I cropped the truck with the punch and fussy cut the tree.

Before embossing with the Basics 3D Embossing Folder, I stamped the sentiment and the ‘road’ lines in Memento Black ink. Then, it was just a question of adding the punched image to the embossed layer and a few Festive Pearls to the card front.

Here are the measurements for this project:

Basic White (Thick) CS: 11″ x 4 1/4″ and scored at 5 1/2″
Basic White CS: 5″ x 3 3/4″
