This quick and simple project showcases the gorgeous paper from the Winter Meadow 12″ x 12″ DSP used with the Magical Meadow bundle and is part of the Winter Meadow Suite Collection. You can find all the products from this collection on pages 36-38 of the new catalog!
I am such a fan of the Deckled Rectangles and now… we have Deckled Circles! I was able to use both on this project by cropping the Deckled Rectangles to make a frame and used the Deckled Circles for the heat embossed sentiment.
I cropped the dies from Basic Gray card stock to coordinate perfectly with the gray hues in this print from the designer series paper! I trimmed the DSP just shy of the measurements for the finished frame and adhered the scene behind the frame before adhering both layers to the embossed layer.
I used one of the Basics 3D Embossing Folders for a backdrop to the framed DSP, which added a nice textured background! I heat embossed the sentiment from the Magical Meadow stamp set with white emboss powder and added one gem from the Faceted Gems Trio Pack to finish off this super simple ‘Winter Wishes’ card.
Here are the measurements for this project:
- Basic White (Thick) CS: 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and scored at 4 1/4″
- Basic Gray CS: 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″
- Basic White CS: (Embossed) 5 1/4″ x 4″
- DSP : 4 1/2″ x 3″
