I'm Thankful For Autumn Leaves - LollyPop Paper and Ink

I’m so thankful for Autumn Leaves (the bundle and the real thing! 😉 )

This project was created with the Autumn Leaves bundle, but the real show-stopper here is this beautiful new DSP that is called All About Autumn 6″ x 6″ DSP. Both items are included in the All About Autumn Suite Collection. You can find all the products from this collection on pages 42-44 of the new catalog!

Once I saw this particular print, I knew I had the perfect scene to showcase. With the help of the Nested Essentials Dies (Annual Cat – 161597), I could separate the images to make one beautiful scene. These dies have an unending amount of uses for your projects! I highly recommend!

After I die cut the banner die three times from the DSP, I went ahead and did the same with the Very Vanilla card stock. I like to back up with a thicker card stock when die cutting DSP… I think it gives the image more substance.

I trimmed a piece of the bottom edge of the DSP print, being sure to match up the designs as best I could.

Before adhering the banner die cuts to the card front, I ran a strip of the new Natural 1″ Ribbon (part of a combo pack that also includes Copper Ribbon) around the trimmed Very Vanilla card stock and then also added a strip of the Natural Wavy Ribbon as an accent element.

Once my ribbons were in place, I adhered the layer to the card base and then used dimensionals to adhere the banner die cuts to the card front.

I stamped the sentiment in Early Espresso ink and cropped a scrap of Very Vanilla card stock with the tag die from this set.

My finishing touches were just a few Rustic Metallic Dots and some baker’s twine wrapped around the sentiment tag that was popped up with dimensionals.

This was such an easy project to accomplish. This DSP pack gave me so much inspiration! You could use any dies that you already own and make your singular die cuts into one beautiful background scene. I hope you will give it a try!

Very Vanilla (Thick) CS: 11″ x 4 1/4″ and scored at 5 1/2″
Very Vanilla CS: 5 1/4″ x 4″
Very Vanilla CS: scrap for sentiment
DSP: (1) 6″ x 6″ DSP: (top half for die cutting and 5 1/4″ x 3/4″ strip for bottom of card front).
