I guess you would call this a ‘double die – gatefold card’. I just made that up, so don’t hold me to it! :-). Here again, the Cheerful Daisies bundle comes into full bloom with this fun fold.

I decided to use one of my favorite masks from the Artistic Mix Decorative Masks instead of matting layers or DSP! Full disclosure though… after opening my Pool Party ink pad, it was immediately apparent that it needs to be replaced. It seems it has taken over as the color of the discontinued Mint Macaron color!

You can see from the card stock layered on the inside of the card pic below, that the ink is not even close to that card stock color. On my wish list for my next order it goes!

The reason I labeled this a double die – gatefold card is because I have two identical die cuts layered over each other on either side of the gate folds, so that when the card is closed… it looks like just one! I adhered one over the right flap and then matching up the die cuts, adhered the other to the left flap!

Here’s the how-to:

• Trim all card stock (See measurements below)
• Burnish at score lines and close flaps to center
• Tape edges of card front to surface for easy masking
• Mask the design over both flaps (best to place a piece of scrap inside card base in case any ink goes through)
• Stamp and die cut duplicate images
• Adhere Pool Party CS to inside of card
• Adhere Basic White CS to Pool Party CS
• Stamp sentiment on trimmed Basic White tag
• Place one of the stamped images on the right closed panel
• Place the other on the right closed panel overlapping the left panel die cut
• Adhere the sentiment tag to the top panel
• Add a few embellishments to the card front

Here are the measurements for this project!

• Basic White CS (thick): 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and scored at 2 1/8″ x 6 3/8″ (or 2 1/8″ from both ends)
• Pool Party CS: 5 1/4″ x 4″
• Basic White CS: 5″ x 3 3/4″
• Basic White CS: 2 1/2″ x 1/2″
