This project is another birthday card created with the Cheerful Daisies Bundle. The bundle is part of the Fresh As A Daisy Suite Collection, which can be found on pages 110 and 111 of the new catalog.

The DSP is called Fresh As A Daisy DSP!

With just an easy turning back of the card stock layer, it can become a fun fold… just something different for an added element of interest.

I am using a few of our new colors with this birthday card. The card stock layer is Moody Mauve, the inks used are Moody Mauve, Bubble Bath and Wild Wheat… all of which coordinate perfectly with the print in the Fresh As A Daisy DSP!

Here’s the how-to:

• Trim Basic White CS: 11″ x 4 1/4″ and score at 5 1/2″
• Trim Moody Mauve CS: 5 1/4″ x 4″
• Trim DSP: 5″ x 3 3/4″
• Adhere DSP layer to Moody Mauve layer
• Fold back the upper right side of the card stock/DSP layer to your desired angle and adhere on itself
• Make a knot and wrap the 3/8″ Moody Mauve Textured Ribbon around the folded card layer
• Adhere this layer to the card base
• Crop out the large one-piece die in both Bubble Bath and Basic White card stock
• Using a dauber or a blending brush, add Bubble Bath ink to the outer rim of the flower tops
• Doing the same to the leaf extension, but using Wild Wheat ink
• Stamp the center of the flowers in Moody Mauve ink
• Stamp the sentiment in Wild Wheat ink onto Basic White card stock and crop with tag die
• Add sentiment to card front with adhesive and add flower die cuts with Dimensionals
• Add a few In Color Dots to the card front

 

Here are the measurements for this project!

• Basic White CS (thick): 11″ x 4 1/4″ and scored at 5 1/2″
• Moody Mauve CS: 5 1/4″ x 4″
• Fresh As A Daisy DSP: 5″ x 3 3/4″
