Perfect Pairing With New Products

Newly Released! Stampin’ Up! 2023-24 Annual Catalog — May 2, 2023 – April 30, 2024

The brand new Annual Catalog was released last week and you are going to love it! So many beautiful stamp sets, bundles, designer series paper and my favorite part… brand new Core AND In Colors!

My project today is from the beautiful stamp set called Lasting Joy and can be found on page 64 of the new catalog! As you can see, it is chock full of beautiful sentiments and there are a few simple floral images… perfect for background stamping.

I paired the ‘I’m so sorry’ embossed sentiment with a pattern from the Fresh As A Daisy 12″ x 12″ DSP for the perfect peaceful scene. Below is one sheet of the design from this pack of DSP. As you can see (lower left corner), it was easy peezy to just trim out the perfect design that I needed… with nine more designs to choose from for future projects.

The sentiment was heat embossed onto Azure Afternoon card stock (newly added core color) to match the color in the DSP. (For some reason, the color in this photo is much darker than the actual Azure Afternoon card stock.) Below is a better depiction of the new color.

I layered the DSP over a layer of Basic White card stock and a larger layer of Wild Wheat card stock (one of our new 2023-25 In Colors).

Before adhering these layers to the card base, I wrapped a strand of our new 3/8″ Textured Ribbon (available in all 5 new In Colors) and tied a knot to the side.

Basic White (thick) CS: 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and scored at
Wild Wheat CS: 5 3/8″ x 4 1/4″
Basic White CS: 5 1/4″ x 4″
DSP: 5″ x 3 3/4″
