Fresh As A Daisy Friendship Card

Just Released! Stampin’ Up! 2023-24 Annual Catalog — May 2, 2023 – April 30, 2024

The brand new Annual Catalog was released this week and you are going to love it! So many beautiful stamp sets, bundles, designer series paper and my favorite part… brand new Core AND In Colors!

Today’s project is all about the designer series paper! And this one is a beauty! It’s called Fresh As A Daisy 12″ x 12″ DSP and comes from the Fresh As A Daisy Suite Collection, which can be found on pages 110 & 111 of the newly released catalog.

Within this collection is the beautiful bundle called, Cheerful Daisies. You can check out a recent project that I created using this bundle here!

There is a print included in this DSP that has ten different patterns on one sheet. You can see from this sample that after trimming all the different prints for future layers, I chose the one that was front and center for this project!

The sentiment was stamped with an image from the Cheerful Daisies stamp set and was cropped with the 1 3/4″ Circle Punch and then trimmed to fit inside the strand of textured ribbon that was adhered to the bottom of the card front. This ribbon is one of the new In Color ribbons that are now available.

I added a second ribbon to the card front – also from the new In Color Collection – called Boho Blue. In order to make a bow (I like thin strips for my bows), I trimmed the 3/8″ ribbon to approx. 1/8″ and this worked great.

I trimmed the DSP to 5 1/8″ x 4″ and then I trimmed out four approx. 1 1/4″ strips. I adhered three of the strips (Stampin’ Seal) onto Copper Clay card stock leaving the fourth one (3rd in the row) to be adhered (Dimensionals) for a little extra pop to the design.

The sentiment was stamped in Boho Blue ink and a few Boho Blue In Color Dots were added to the center of some of the flowers.

Here are the measurements for today’s project…

Basic White (thick) CS: 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and scored at 4 1/4″
Copper Clay CS: 5 1/4″ x 4″
DSP: 5 1/8″ x 4″ and then into four 1 1/4″ strips
