A Tropical Thank You

This Thank You card project was created with three separate Online Exclusive products… The Tropical Leaf Bundle, one of the Basics 3D Embossing Folders and the Hello, Irresistible DSP!

This was a really quick and easy fun fold using bright and cheery colors! The So Saffron card stock and ink that I used here is being discontinued and will no longer be available when the new 2023-23 Annual Catalog goes live on May 2nd!

So Saffron was my favorite Yellow and I’ll be sorry to see it leave! This is a great time to stock up now before this beautiful Yellow is gone for good.

The use of one side of the fun fold as the embossed layer makes for a bold statement. I used the large circle/dots folder for this look. It really makes the card front pop!

My layers consist of So Saffron and the Hello, Irresistible DSP (from the Irresistible Blooms Collection), and a circle punch adds a pop of color from Petal Pink card stock.

For those ‘blobs’ of color that I added to the sentiment layer… they were added by using the reverse side of the tropical leaf stamp.

I used the Loose Frosted Dots as a pretty embellishment! These cute little dots of color are currently not orderable, but are expected to be back in stock on May 1.

Basic White (thick) CS: 9″ x 4 1/4 and scored at 5 1/2″
So Saffron CS: 4″ x 3 3/4″
DSP: 3 3/4″ x 3″
Basic White (thick) CS: 4 1/4″ x 2″
Basic White CS: (embossed layer) 4 1/4″ x 2″

2023 Stampin’ Up! Color Refresh

There are eleven core colors that are retiring and twelve that are replacing those colors. Four (out of 5) of the 2021-23 In Colors are being discontinued, but the Fresh Freesia will be added to the core colors.
