I just cannot get enough of this designer series paper! It’s called Fancy Flora 6″ x 6″ DSP It is part of the Fancy Flora Suite Collection (you can find it on pages 14-17 of the new Mini), which is a double bundle suite and consists of the Something Fancy Bundle and the Two Tone Flora Bundle. I used the Something Fancy bundle because of the beautiful fonts and perfect sentiment dies!
The 3D embossing folder that I used for this project is called Stripes & Splatters 3D Embossing Folder. It comes in a set of two folders and is sized perfectly for the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Mini Machine.
In order for my entire base layer to be embossed (5 1/4″ x 4″), I needed to extend the embossing by running it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine twice. On the second run through, I placed the embossing folder only over the un-embossed layer and ran it through again.
I used Soft Suede ink to stamp the sentiment from the Something Fancy stamp set and cropped it with the Something Fancy Dies. The beautiful patterned paper from the Fancy Flora DSP was front and center and truly the focal image of the card. See below for the measurements.
Here are the measurements for this project…
- Soft Suede CS: 11″ x 4 1/4″ and scored at 5 1/2″
- Crumb Cake CS: (embossed layer) 5 1/4″ x 4″
- Soft Suede CS: 4 3/4″ x 3 1/2″
- DSP: 4 3/4″ x 3 1/2″

Such a beautiful card! The DSP does take center stage, but that embossing is a wow factor! Thanks for sharing..
Thanks, Bette!
