To be perfectly honest, I never really had much success with no-line stamping… until this little cutie popped up and I knew I had to give it another try! So happy I did!
This cute character is from the Playing in the Rain stamp set. Combine this set with the Rain or Shine Specialty DSP and you have a winner for sure! This stamp set can be found on page 51 and is part of the Rain or Shine Suite Collection!
This easy fun fold was perfect for showcasing this adorable designer series paper. Using the Deckled Rectangle Dies allowed for a simple but sturdy front flap to open up to the inside sentiment layer. And what a beautiful backdrop for your personal greeting on the inside layer.
No line stamping comes down to this… just stamp off until you have the lightest possible image to work with! Here I used Crumb Cake ink and stamped off a second and third time.
Then, using whatever coloring medium you choose (I chose Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Markers), begin to fill in the color working from the outer lines of the image inward. To add just a bit of extra color, I used my Flirty Flamingo Blends Markers for the shirt.
Here are the measurements for this project:
- Basic White (thick) CS: 9″ x 4 1/4″ and scored at 5 1/2″
- Balmy Blue CS: 5 1/4″ x 4″
- DSP: 5″ x 3 3/4″
- Balmy Blue CS: 4″ x 3 1/4″
- Balmy Blue CS: scrap for Deckled Rectangle
- Basic White CS: scrap for Deckled Rectangle
I hope you liked today’s project! If your no-line stamping projects haven’t come out the way you wanted in the past…give it one more try… I’m sure this next one will be perfect!
