LOLLYPOP PAPER AND INK

Simple To Stepped-Up Saturday!

The Playing in the Rain bundle is the perfect stamp set/bundle for you to go from Simple to Stepped-Up in just minutes.

S.I.P.Stamps, Ink and Paper... let’s get started!

This super simple card was created with just the basics… stamps, ink and paper! The images are from the Playing in the Rain stamp set and can be found in the new Jan – April 2023 Mini Catalog on page 55. This stamp set can be purchased as a bundle with the Playing in the Rain Dies.

Playing in the Rain Bundle

For this quick and simple card design, I did use a small piece of the Rain or Shine 12″ x 12″ Specialty DSP and a small strip of Balmy Blue and White Double Stitched Ribbon to separate the stamped layer from the DSP.

You hardly need a tutorial for this quick and easy card, but here are the measurements to get you going..

  • Balmy Blue CS: 11″ x 4 1/4″ and scored at 5 1/2″
  • Basic White CS: 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″
  • Basic White CS: 5 1/4″ x 4″

The stamping was done on the lower portion of the smaller layer. The DSP was added to the top portion and the ribbon was added to separate the two. A very slim strip of the Balmy Blue CS was added to the bottom to ground the image.

And now for the ‘Stepped-Up’ Version…

Check out the Playing in the Rain Bundle… these dies can really help tell a happy story for your card front!

This stepped up version was created with just a few added elements.

  • Use a Layering Circle Die to crop a circle from the Basic White layer
  • Run this layer through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with the Raindrops Embossing Folder
  • Attach a piece of DSP behind the circle of the embossed layer
  • Crop the adorable bunny right from the DSP using the Playing in the Rain Dies
  • Crop two grass die cuts from Old Olive card stock
  • Crop the label die from the Stitched Shapes Dies and stamp sentiment in Old Olive ink
  • Stamp the clouds image in White Pigment ink onto Vellum card stock and crop with dies

Layer everything up and you have one happy rainy day card to lift anyone’s spirits!

Here are the measurements for this stepped-up version!

  • Thick Basic White CS: 11″ x 4 1/4″ and scored at 5 1/2″
  • Old Olive CS: 5 1/4″ x 4″
  • Basic White CS: 5″ x 3 3/4″
