S.I.P. – Stamps, Ink and Paper... let’s get started!

This super simple card was created with just the basics… stamps, ink and paper! The images are from the Dainty Delight stamp set and can be found in the new Jan – April 2023 Mini Catalog on page 55. This stamp set can be purchased as a bundle with the Dainty Delight Dies.

You hardly need a tutorial for this quick and easy card, but here are the measurements to get you going..

• Thick Basic White CS: 11″ x 4 1/4″ and scored at 5 1/2″
• Petal Pink CS: 5 1/2″ x 2″
• Basic White CS: 5″ x 3 3/4″

And now for the ‘Stepped-Up’ Version…

This stepped up version was created with just a few added elements. The first was done by simply scoring around all four edges of the focal image layer with my Trimmer. I scored the layer after the image was stamped and colored in with a few strokes from my Calypso Coral Blends Marker.

I added a die cut tag from the Something Fancy Bundle (this bundle will be a staple in my stamp room… so many shapes for tags and the sentiments for year-round use)!

I also scored the edges of the sentiment tag after stamping the sentiment in Memento Black ink. The tag was popped up with some dimensionals over the ribbon that was also colored with my Calypso Coral Blends Marker.

Just a few iridescent pearls were added for a personal touch to this sympathy card.

• Basic White CS: 5″ x 3 3/4″
