A quick and simple sketch to a super cute thank you card! That’s what we have here today!
I am using the Dainty Flowers DSP, which is a Sale-A-Bration item and can be earned for FREE with a qualifying order of $50+ during the months of January and February. This is one of those projects where the designer series paper steals the show… and adding a little splatter technique makes the focal image pop even more!
The sentiment is from the Dainty Delight stamp set (Jan – April 2023 Mini Catalog, page 55). I stamped directly on a scrap from this DSP for the sentiment tag! You can see from the photo that this DSP actually looks like it is textured… so cool!
I added the splatter by simply mixing a little Mango Melody ink with my Water Painter and using the tip of the cap to the painter (see below), to tap out whatever paint was on the brush tip. So easy and adds so much interest to any project.
The tag was cropped from the Something Fancy Dies and then cut in half horizontally!

- Mango Melody CS: 11″ x 4 1/4″ and scored at 5 1/2″
- Basic White CS: 5 1/4″ x 4″
- Mango Melody CS: 5 1/4″ x 2 5/8 (approx)*
- DSP: 5 1/4″ x 2 1/2″ (approx)*
- *these measurements are approximate because I wanted to center the design from the DSP
