Want to make your card front pop? Emboss the top layer and the card design is immediately transformed. I used the Cane Weave 3D Embossing Folder on Mango Melody card stock and I love how it just brought the whole card to life.
Knowing that I wanted to keep a flat border on both the top and bottom of the card front, I placed the top layer of the card stock through the center of the embossing folder.
I used the dies from the Dainty Delight Dies to crop the largest die cut and then I ran that die cut through with the Cane Weave 3D Embossing Folder for some added dimension.

I do have the measurements below for you, but just keep in mind that when I trimmed the DSP, I wanted to keep the floral image front and center, so my measurements were approximate.
I used a small piece of scrap from the DSP after trimming and I used that to stamp my sentiment. The sentiment is from the Something Fancy stamp set. This set is part of the Fancy Flora Suite Collection and can be found of page 15 of the new Mini.
I stamped the inside of the card with Mossy Meadow ink using one of the floral spray images from the Dainty Delight stamp set! I feel it adds a very personal touch when the recipient of the card sees that the inside was also stamped! (I don’t do that enough)! 🙂

- Mango Melody CS: 11″ x 4 1/4″ and scored at 5 1/2″
- Basic White CS: 5 1/4″ x 4″ (inside card)
- DSP: 3/4″ x 2 1/4″
- Mango Melody CS: 5 3/8″ x 2 1/4″*
- DSP: 5 1/4″ x 2″*
- *measurements are approximate in order to center DSP design

I really do like that Cane Weave embossing folder – talk about making it pop! I like to add a little extra to the inside of the card, too. The Dainty Delight stamp set has such neat little sprays that just add a touch to the inside. Love this card and I’m sure I’ll be casing it. Thanks for sharing.
