LOLLYPOP PAPER AND INK

Simple to Stepped Up With Petal Park

The Petal Park bundle is the perfect example of how you can go from Simple to Stepped Up in just minutes. S.I.P.Stamps, Ink and Paper... let’s get started!

This super simple card was created with just the basics… stamps, ink and paper! The images are from the Petal Park two-step stamp set and can be found in the new Jan – April 2023 Mini Catalog on page 32. This stamp set can be purchased as a bundle with the Petal Park Builder Punch.

It is part of the Regency Park Suite Collection and the sister set to this bundle is called Sentimental Park – and that bundle has beautiful images, dies AND fantastic sentiments!

Petal Park Stamp Set & Bundle

Sentimental Park Stamp Set & Bundle

You hardly need a tutorial for this quick and easy card, but here are the measurements to get you going..

  • Thick Basic White CS: 11″ x 4 1/4″ and scored at 5 1/2″
  • Old Olive CS: 5″ x 3 3/4″
  • Basic White CS: 5″ x 3 3/4″

And now for the ‘Stepped-Up’ Version…

This really wasn’t more difficult in creating, it just took a bit more time to add all the extras.

I still used the Petal Park stamp set for the stamped images, but this time I stamped a few extra flower tops and punched them out with the Petal Park Builder Punch.

I used the sentiment from the Sentimental Park bundle and also cropped the tag from the dies included in the bundle. I stamped the sentiment in both Fresh Freesia and Smoky Slate ink for a little dimension to the image.

I layered two different (but coordinating) prints from the Dandy Designs 12″ x 12″ DSP (Sale-A-Bration item #160836) beneath the focal image layer and over the Fresh Freesia base layer.

To finish it off, I wrapped a strand of the Crinkle Ribbon around the focal image layer and tied a double bow. My last addition was a twine-wrapped bow to accentuate the ribbon bow.

Before adhering all the layers, I roughed up the edges of the focal image layer with my snips… just a bit for the final touch!

Here are the measurements for this stepped-up version!

  • Thick Basic White CS: 11″ x 4 1/4″ and scored at 5 1/2″
  • Fresh Freesia CS: 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″
  • DSP: 3 5/8″ x 4 7/8″
  • DSP: 5 3/8″ x 1 1/2″
  • Basic White CS: 4 1/2″ x 3 1/2″
