Dainty Flowers 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper – SAB #160834

I chose the DSP print with the oval shaped floral sprays. I trimmed my layer as close as I could to the oval. The finished size of the layer is approximately 3″ x 4″. I layered it to the Mossy Meadow base layer measuring 5 1/4″ x 4″.

I used a very simple watercolor technique on the leaf spray after die cutting two of the beautiful arched leaf dies from the bundle by brushing them lightly with a water painter dipped in Mossy Meadow ink.

I also die cut the single flower image and watercolored that one using Mango Melody and Pumpkin Pie ink. My intention was to get the colors as close to the flower in the DSP! What do you think? 🙂

You can see from the photo below, I used the watercolor ink very sparingly as I wanted a true watercolor effect.
