I am welcoming in Autumn today with an Autumn Hello as my first official ‘Fall’ card project. I chose the Hello Harvest bundle, which is part of the Rustic Harvest Suite and can be found on pages 48-50 of the JD 2022 Mini Catalog!

I am also featuring the Split Card Textures Dies! These dies are fantastic and can really make your card front pop… using any designer series paper and/or stamp set!

I chose the coordinating DSP from the Suite, which is called Rustic Harvest DSP and although this pack has all beautiful Fall colors, I chose the Black and White print so that my pumpkin would really pop!

I used Pumpkin Pie ink and my Water Painter to fill the pumpkin with a little bit of color. The ‘HELLO’ sentiment was stamped in Memento ink and cropped with the smallest Deckled Rectangle Dies. And the pumpkin was stamped with Stazon ink so that when I added the watered down ink, it wouldn’t pool into the outline of the pumpkin!

 

Here are the measurements for this projects:

• Thick Basic White CS: 11″ x 4 1/4″ and scored at 5 1/2″
• Basic Black CS: 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″
• DSP: 5 1/4″ x 4″
• Large scrap for Split Card Textures Dies and trimmed to 5 1/4 x 3 1/4
• Scrap for sentiment and pumpkin
