I took one look at the Stampin’ Up! video where a member from the Artisan Design Team demonstrated making die-cuts in multiple colors of card stock with the help of Adhesive Sheets… and I just had to see for myself!
I started with a large die from the Artisan Additions Dies set since I wanted something bold for my background. I gathered some scraps I had in some of my favorite colors (Mint Macaron, So Saffron, Soft Suede and Soft Succulent) and trimmed them all to half an inch.
I layered each strip of card stock onto a piece of Adhesive Sheets and trimmed off the edges so that there wouldn’t be anything sticky left on the die.
I simply ran it through my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with the large die and poked out the unwanted (sticky) pieces. The white layer is actually the Adhesive Sheet and serves as a crisp background layer for the colorful focal image.
I did the same process for the sentiment and then stamped and cropped it using the Charming Sentiments Bundle from the 2022-23 Annual Catalog.
This was a very easy and cool technique to try for yourself!
