The Pretty Pop-Ups Dies are the showstopper for this card project. You can find the Pretty Pop-Ups (stand-alone dies) in the 22-23 Annual Catalog on page 17 and 173.
As you can see from the sample, I used the large circular die. After running it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, I drew a light pencil line onto the paper and around the die. This allowed me to make a clean cut all around the beautiful image.
I used my Balmy Blue and Mango Melody ink along with my Blending Brushes to add color to a few of the images that were popped up from the die.
I cropped two rectangles from the Deckled Rectangle Dies (one from Vellum and one from Basic White). I used the Vellum layer as a backdrop to the colored circle and the smaller rectangle was used for the sentiment.
You can see that the sentiment tag was also run through the Cut & Emboss Machine with the single butterfly die for a pretty accent to the sentiment.
Below is another project I created using these fabulous dies. This time, I added a watercolor technique on both the DSP (Silver & Gold SAB DSP) and also on the sentiment tag.
For this project, I used the rectangle die and left a small border around the die cut by trimming to size. I used my Water Painter to add stripes to the DSP.
Check out the video below for the step-by-step on the watercolored project and a peek into a few more cards made with these fantastic dies.
