I am back into my Leaves of Holly bundle from the Boughs of Holly Suite in the new July – December 22 Mini Catalog! You can find these products on page 25 and 26. I decided to make this card a bit on the simple and dark side (used Soft Suede CS and ink) for a masculine holiday card.

The DSP is gorgeous, but my favorite element from this suite is the beautiful tag die that I am showcasing with this project. I opted to leave the leaf open, but there is another die that can crop a perfectly fitting backdrop to the leaves on this die. It took me a minute to figure out what that die was for… and then finally the shoe dropped! 🙂

Here’s the step-by-step…

• Trim Thick Basic White CS to  8 1/2 x 5 1/2 and score at 4 1/4
• Trim Soft Suede CS to 5 1/4 x 4
• Trim DSP to 5 x 3 3/4
• Stamp the sentiment in Soft Suede ink onto Basic White scrap
• Crop the sentiment with the tag die
• Adhere all layers to the card base
• Crop the label die from Soft Suede CS
• Trim a small piece of White Frayed Ribbon and adhere to card front
• Adhere the tag over the ribbon with dimensionals
• Place a few (white) Classic Matte Dots to the card front
