Wishing You All The Happiness With Fresh Cut Flowers

I am still working my way through my favorites from the 2022-23 Annual Catalog and I want to say that this is my number one stand alone stamp set. It’s called the Fresh Cut Flowers stamp set and you can find it on page 65 of the new catalog! This stamp set doesn’t have any sentiments… just beautiful floral images.

I love the black line images! It gives you so much freedom to leave it alone, use Blends Markers, Watercolor Pencils or use daubers! Daubers is what I chose for this project.

I used a small amount of Sahara Sand ink with my dauber to create just a bit of shading in the center of the flowers. I also used the dauber to add a little color to the edges of both rectangles, which were cropped with the new Deckled Rectangle Dies (pg. 170)

I chose the Sahara Sand color to coordinate with the Sahara Sand design on one of the sheets from the beautiful, new Sun Prints DSP!

I trimmed a thin piece from the DSP and laid it horizontally over a strip of White Frayed Ribbon, popped (dimensionals) the sentiment (stamped with the Happiness Abounds stamp set) layer over and to the side of the ribbon band and added a bow made with our Linen Thread!

The finishing touch was adding a few Brushed Metallic Dots to the card front!
