This card project was created for all of my May 22 customers as a thank you for placing an order with me this past month! The bundle that I used was the Happiness Abounds bundle, but the real star of the show here is the Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper.
My favorite part of this DSP (beyond the obvious beauty of it) is the fact that there are six dies in bundle that crop out flowers and leaves directly from the DSP. And at the same time, can be fussy cut just as easily.
My favorite part of the dies included in the bundle (Blossoming Happiness Dies) is the unique ‘notebook page’ die that makes for the coolest background for the focal image.
I used Mango Melody as my base layer and coordinating ink color to pick up the Mango Melody in the larger flower. I added a simple bow made with our Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack and added one large Opal from the 2021-23 In Color Opal Round embellishment pack (surprisingly, it matched perfectly with the Mango Melody)!

This is a quick and simple project to put together… especially if you are making more than one at a time! As you can see, I cropped many (and I mean many) flowers and leaves from the DSP to keep me stocked for awhile. This gave me the opportunity to pick a flower from my bunch and then create with the coordinating card stock color!
